VI PROPEA 2025: Science, Innovation, and Sustainability in Service of the Livestock and Agro-Industrial Sectors
Riobamba, Ecuador – In October 2025, the Faculty of Animal Sciences at the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) will host the 6th International Congress on Livestock and Agro-Industrial Production (VI PROPEA)—a forum that will bring together researchers, professionals, students, and producers from around the world to share scientific, technological, and managerial advances that strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of Latin American agriculture. A Global Gathering
Recognized as an academic benchmark in the Andean region, VI PROPEA 2025 fosters cross-cutting dialogue among science, innovation, and rural development. The program will feature keynote lectures, themed panels, poster sessions, prototype exhibitions, and networking activities that build academic and business partnerships. Thematic Axes
The Scientific Committee has confirmed two broad areas of knowledge, each with specific research lines:
- Agro-Industry
Applied engineering, product preservation and quality, food safety and traceability, biotechnology, environmental management, agro-industrial economics - Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science
Animal nutrition and feeding, genetics and reproduction, animal health and One Health, diagnostics and surgery, animal welfare and sustainable production, environmental and economic management
Call for Papers
The academic community is invited to submit research articles, extended abstracts, and technology-transfer case studies. Accepted manuscripts will be published in a journal indexed in regional databases, enhancing author visibility.
